Just got this Cuisinart CMW-200 1-1/5-Cubic-Foot Convection Microwave Oven with Grill Convection oven is uselessBy PonyWe bought this microwave oven because it also has a convection oven. The oven takes a VERY long time to heat up.Example:350 degrees takes 35 minutes425 degrees took over an hourIn contrast my regular electric (full size) oven takes 8 minutes to reach 425Our old Panasonic microwave/convection oven took 15 minutes to reach 425This machine was supposed to be a time saver, but we hardly ever use the convection setting as it takes too long to warm up. We find we now have an overpriced microwave oven.
